SCSI2Pi 6.4 is available.
The main changes in this version:
- The same s2p binary now supports both the FULLSPEC and STANDARD boards. You can select the STANDARD board via an option.
- For an even lower memory footprint, the binary sizes have been further reduced through additional optimizations. Pis with limited main memory benefit particularly from this.
- The binaries for the Debian packages are built using cross-compilers that include the latest patches for Raspberry Pi OS. This prevents potential suble runtime errors.
- There are numerous small improvements, e.g. improved error handling, fixed typos or updated manpages.
- Source code portability and code quality have been further improved.
SCSI2Pi profits from running on a full-fledged Linux. Specially configured SD cards are not required, because images are simply copied to the Pi via the network. You control it with the SCSI Control App, a web interface or on the command line. Ataris are especially well supported with the SCSI2Pi Client Tools. SCSI2Pi is regularly used and tested with Atari computers.

Debian support for Bullseye has ended. Upgrading to Trixie is recommended. Bullseye is still fully supported by SCSI2Pi 6.4.
